I write a lot down but always forget certain things. Girls in the Band merchandise. Everything a worthwhile documentary should be. And brimming with delightful characters. Lively and entertaining sheds long overdue light. Director Judy Chaikininfuses this fine portrait with grace, nostalgia and a well-calibrated dose of social commentary. Portrait could be the corrective.
